Together, were building a planet run by the sun come be part of it The AEE Solar Sr. Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of AEE Solars strategic marketing plan. The focus of this position is to develop strategies and programs to attract new AEE Solar customers and collaboratively grow existing customers. This position also oversees the brand structure and messaging, media and event planning, creative assets and execution, sponsorships, and marketing communications. The successful candidate will lead an effective team of marketing professionals and collaborate closely with a seasoned cross:functional BU management team as well as liaise with Sunrun corporate marketing leaders. Here is what youll do as part of the team: Develop and drive direct marketing programs and communications to obtain new customers (dealers) and reinforce relationships with existing customers. This will include leveraging our new ecommerce platform to offer differentiated products and services, drive consistent and creative online promotions, advertising, social media. Drive a metrics culture within the department (for example, new dealer acquisitions and growth, product margin growth, etc) to drive individual accountability and results. Utilize key market and competitive analysis, customer segmentation and new product introductions to drive marketing strategies leading to substantial margin improvement. Analyze internal sales data, customer feedback and market trends to create actionable plans that mitigate risks and maximize pricing opportunities. Highlight changes in competitive landscape to management and Purchasing team. Drive a structured and proactive pricing strategy within the business that enables AEE to stay ahead of the Game. Work with product management and sales to refine pricing and discount structure Examine customer buying behavior, help identify and opportunities for better alignment between customer and AEE processes. Leverage Sunrun and supplier relationships to maximize content creation, events, and sponsorships Manage the implementation of integrated marketing plans to extend core communication strategies across all elements of marketing mix, including advertising, online, customer, and partner:specific initiatives Maintain AEE Solars Style Guide to ensure brand integrity, consistency and compliance Direct brand research, strategy and evolution Develop and execute annual marketing plan and budget And here is what youll need to be successful: MBA or equivalent experience Minimum 5:7 years of marketing leadership experience High level of energy and focus on results A hands on approach to getting things done Demonstrated ability to analyze available data and use that analysis to drive decision:making A collaborative but fact:based management style. Strong experience with managing department accountability to top:line growth as measured by a quantitative dashboard including metrics such as new customer registrations, traditional and online sales growth, product margin development, etc. Experience in running advertising and social media campaigns Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to communicate across all stakeholder groups Demonstrated ability to manage outsourced marketing activities, including work performed by consultants Direct experience managing, building, and maintaining respected brands.
